We’ve had trouble with net on the boat and different countries have different protocols

We are now in Greece in the hotel. What a fun day on high mountain passes covered in snow…We survived. Then had a rough dirt road section which seems to have been a challenge for all we thought we’d blown it but most had trouble.

Tomorrow takes us on 7 competitive stages to Athens via Delphi then we get the ferry late for 2 days across to Alexandria

Currently the rear suspension is off the car, the rear springs have failed completely. We’ve had new ones made but they will be too high and to stiff. Bit of a big stuff up ”By me in the spring selection in Australia “.

Well be stuck with them till Nairobi where we will try and the Merc Dealer to fit a new country pack spring.

Also the bilsteins made in US are no good as they make adjustable bilsteins in Europe that resolve the swaying problem we continue to have as well.

Crazy Morgan drivers they only know flat out and we see them passing and us passing them several times in a section, and they are going in both directions

Later in the day ready for second comp section which was very rough

At the hotel, nice to be finished before the sun sets and ready to change the springs

At the Hotel, David body and a comp Porsche had a head on, neither knows who's was going in the right or wrong direction

Come very good mechanics arrived to help out this 2 door convertible Citroen worth more than 5,000,000 AUS dollars

We had a fun day around the monastery's

The mechanics did not have a the correct Merc spring compressor so we decided not to replace the springs..we would have had to pull the rear suspension out which we did no want to do or the time. As I write on the morning of day 6 they are still here after working all night on other cars Great people and wonderful hospitality The mechanics are also well know in the motor racing industry
