Day 3 Beaune to Florence

We left Beaune at about 9 for a long drive

First legs we transport across Northern France into the french alps. Reasonable weather but cold in France with he weather clearing as we climbed with raging rives and apparently heavy snow overnight, then into heavy fog very creepy in the mountains, and then into Italy with clear weather then overcast until about 5pm when we reassembled ready for a very difficult steep winding road competition section. Sam drove this, getting back 4 places that we had lost in the uk.

The 2 door merc hit a bank and ripped a rear left wheel off, and the Volvo went off the road without any damage but needed a 4 wheel dive to pull them out. Then we had a long drive into Florence arriving at 10.30 pm with a quick dinner ready for a 6.30 drive out
